Living with a chronic lung disease is challenging. Better Breathers is a welcoming support group for individuals with COPD, pulmonary fibrosis and lung cancer, and their caregivers.  Learn better ways to cope with lung disease while getting the support of others in similar situations. Led by an American Association for Respiratory Care COPD Educator, Better Breathers gives you the tools you need to live the best quality of life you can.

Better Breathers Support Group meets the fourth Monday of each month in Jeanes Hospital’s Cheltenham Friends Meetinghouse. Educational presentations on a wide range of topics include:

  • Breathing techniques
  • Exercise
  • Talking with your physician
  • Medications and treatment options
  • Medical tests
  • Home healthcare
  • Lung transplants
  • Air pollution

Oxygen is available for all Better Breathers Support Group meetings. Valet parking is available.

Space is Limited. To register, call 215-728-4861 or email Rosemarie.Schlegel@tuhs.temple.edu.
