Jeanes Hospital Launches Community Publication

Last week 114,000 households in our region received Jeanes Hospital's first community publication, Health Matters. The quarterly publication is designed to bring our priority programs and departments to our neighbors, and offer lots of hospital and medical staff highlights.

The first issue has been very well received, with insightful and engaging articles about cancer risks for women, knowing the signs of a stroke, and the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen therapy. The issue also highlighted Jeanes Hospital's wireless technology that helps get heart attack patients to the cath lab faster, and a patient testimonial from a gentleman who was the grateful recipient of a mended heart and a new pair of knees.

Every Health Matters article exhibits the expertise of our medical staff, and convenient ways to access more information.

If you don't receive Health Matters at home, you can view the publication online, click here.
