About Us
The anesthesia department is a dedicated group of board certified anesthesiologists, certified registered nurse anesthetists, and support staff that work together to provide anesthesia services at Jeanes Hospital. The department's mission is to provide quality anesthesia delivery through a commitment to patient safety, ethical practice guidelines, and continuing education; while also supporting the mission of Jeanes Hospital. These knowledgeable professionals are experienced in a wide range of anesthesia techniques and work closely with patient care teams to promote quality outcomes. The anesthesia team is directly involved in the care of surgical patients before, during, and after procedures; beginning with the medical evaluation of the patient prior to surgery and ending with postoperative pain control. In addition to services provided to surgical patients, a separate division of the department specializes in acute and chronic pain management.
