Emergency Medicine

Jeanes Hospital’s Emergency Department specializes in the acute care of patients without a prior appointment, arriving at the hospital by their own means or by ambulance. Due to the unplanned nature of patient attendance, the department must provide initial treatment for a broad spectrum of illnesses and injuries, some of which may be life-threatening and require immediate attention.

Specially trained Jeanes Hospital Emergency Department physicians, nurses, technicians and staff provide patients with priority access to a variety of hospital services, including radiology, surgery and anesthesia, 24 hours-a-day and seven days-a-week.

If you are experiencing serious medical problems such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, or major trauma, please call 911.
