Community Grants Program: Apply Today

The mission of the Anna T. Jeanes Foundation is to continue the Quaker presence and values in Jeanes Hospital and its community, provide for the health and wellness of the geographic community served by Jeanes Hospital and maintain the fidelity of Jeanes Hospital's commitment to the community.

The Foundation annually accepts applications for its community grants program, which is designed to provide funding for projects that promote the health and wellness of organizations and communities in the hospital's service areas. Grants are made based on merit, community impact and funds availability. Grants range from $500 to $2,500.

Grant applications are available October 1. The deadline for grant applications is November 16.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Applicants must be nonprofit organizations that are able to provide a copy of their tax exemption letter from the Internal Revenue Service and a completed W9 form. 
  • All applications must be submitted on the official application form. Additional paper or materials may be included if necessary.
  • Organizations applying for grants must be located in one of the following zip codes: 19006, 19012, 19027, 19046, 19095, 19111, 19114, 19115, 19116, 19120, 19124, 19126, 19135, 19136, 19149, 19152, and 19154. Projects outlined in the grant applications must take place within these zip codes.
  • Funds awarded must be used to promote the health and wellness of community residents. Funds must be used between January 1 and December 31 of the grant year.
